Mr. Gary YH Yang was appointed President and CEO of Union Semiconductor since its interception Jan 2001. Mr. Yang has nearly 27 years experience in analog and mixed signal IC design, marketing and sales. Most Recently he was with Maxim from 1997 to 2000 and helped Maxim to grow business from ground to over US$40M in China. Prior Maxim, Mr. Yang began his career as a research staff with Shanghai University engaged in electronics and optical sensor research project.

Mr. Yang earned a BSEE degree and MSEE degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology at Wuhan, China, has authored or coauthored 2 books and over 30 technical articles on various aspects of analog mixed signal chip design and application, holds 3 patents, was first undergraduate student to publish research paper on IEE international journal of optoelectronics.
